Meme This...

I was watching some shit about some shit a while back (because I'm all about specifics). Whatever the show was, it got around to interviewing people about the glory of Seinfeld. I recall one woman saying, "It's just such a great show. I know some people don't 'get it,' but you have to have a certain amount of life experience to really understand the humour of that show. It's really brilliant."

Is that not the most profoundly arrogant thing you've ever heard? "A certain amount of life experience?" I have never managed to stomache an entire episode. It's about three people who spend every waking moment whining, and a fourth person, who plays the jester. It's inane pabulum. It's transcriptions of conversations with your most boring friends. In fact, "Seinfeld" is much like the show "Friends," in that, if you're watching it you probably don't have any friends.

The afore mentioned jester was, in fact, the only reason I ever lingered on the idiot-circus at all.

Then I see this shit:

One day he just woke up, and his ego had become a separate entity, removing all logic, conscience, & decency. Michael Richards had, for all intents & purposes, ceased to be human.
